Job Title: Sprinkler Installer/FitterPay: $20-$28Overtime AvailableAsheville, NCJob DescriptionThe person will assist the foreman in the installation of fire sprinkler systems. Candidates will use a tape measurer to measure and cut materials. Proficiency in cutting, threading, and grooving sprinkler piping is required.Hard Skills
Lifting materials up to 100lbs.
Working off of ladders, scissor lifts
Proficiency with cutting, threading & grooving sprinkler piping
Proficiency in the installation of threaded piping 1” to 2” in diameter, hangers and seismic bracing
Proficiency in the installation of grooved piping 2” to 6” in diameter, hangers and seismic bracing
Can read fire protection installation drawings and follow direction
Some knowledge of NFPA 13 standard for sprinkler installation guidelines and requirements
Capable of safe use of hand tools, wrenches, tape measure, level, etc.
Experience with usage of electric or battery operated tools, core drill, hammer drill, impact drill, bandsaw, 300 threading machine, groover
Has own transportation & basic hand tools (tape measure, channel locks, & 10” torpedo level at minimum)
