Accounts Receivable Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Accountant in the manufacturing industry. The role is based in Mooresville, North Carolina, and involves managing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities: Efficiently process and manage customer credit applications Maintain and update customer credit records regularly Set up customers in the system for efficient tracking and management Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in accounts Conduct credit analysis for new and existing customers Perform billing tasks for customer accounts Issue credit memos as necessary Communicate effectively with large vendors for seamless operations Regularly work in customer portals for real-time updates Apply cash collections to appropriate accounts Use Microsoft Excel and AS400 for various accounting tasks.Requirements Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required Familiarity with Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections is essential Must have strong skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with AS400 system is preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have legal rights to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
