Real Estate Paralegal - To Start Immediately!

Established law firm with a fast-paced real estate and estate planning practice is looking to

add a temporary full time real estate paralegal primarily in our Jacksonville office. Estate planning a plus! This position could lead to permanent full time.

Primary duties will include:

drafting and processing legal documents and professional correspondence;

calendaring and tracking all relevant dates, deadlines and action items for

assigned real estate transactions;

reviewing and analyzing contract, financing, leasing, due diligence and title

documentation and information;

assisting attorneys with preparing for and conducting closing conferences by,

among other things, preparing closing checklists, gathering and organizing all

transaction documents for execution, and attending closing conferences;

performing and/or overseeing all post-closing-conference procedures including

the recording and filing of closing documents, disbursement of funds, preparation and

delivery of closing packages, and monitoring and ensuring the timely filing of lenders’ lien releases and satisfactions;

communicating efficiently and professionally with all clients, buyers, sellers, lenders, title company representatives, attorneys, paralegals, and other third parties;

organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files; and

otherwise providing dependable administrative assistance and paralegal support for attorneys.

The ideal candidate will be a team player that demonstrates excellent organization, communication and time management skills, strong technology skills and use of paperless workflow, attention to detail, a client-focused approach, and the ability to work well under pressure while producing consistent and high-quality work.
