This position demands a commitment to academic excellence and the ability to effectively deliver high-quality education in a remote learning environment.DISTANCE EDUCATION/INSTRUCTIONFulfill the assigned teaching load per semester with utmost diligence and professionalism.Maintain and demonstrate exemplary subject matter expertise, including proficiency in distance education methodologies.Rigorously apply established teaching criteria, procedures, and curriculum to ensure optimal student learning outcomes.Implement diverse and innovative distance education teaching methodologies to drive continuous quality improvement.Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) with precision to deliver course content and provide substantive, formative feedback to learners.Collaborate effectively with the program chair or program director to enhance the design and efficacy of distance education environments.LEARNER RETENTIONMeticulously monitor and track student retention using course attendance records.Develop and implement data-driven student retention improvement strategies to achieve and surpass course benchmarks.Engage in strategic partnerships with the program chair or program director to optimize the design and effectiveness of distance education.PROMOTE EXCELLENCE IN TEACHINGMaintain exceptional proficiency in all aspects of course content, curricula, learning outcomes, and assessment activities to achieve course goals.Teach assigned courses within the maximum allowable contact hours, ensuring the highest standards of instructional quality.Demonstrate superior skill and knowledge in the teaching discipline.Continuously strive to improve instructional quality through rigorous review and implementation of diverse techniques, including cutting-edge distance education methodologies.Contribute significantly to the planning, development, and maintenance of program curriculum.Conduct thorough and timely evaluations of student progress in achieving course goals, providing prompt and constructive feedback.Submit all required program reports and forms to program or course managers with punctuality and accuracy.Maintain meticulous student records of attendance and skill competency as required.Collaborate closely with the program director or department chair to resolve student appeals in a fair and timely manner.Attend faculty meetings as scheduled by the program director or department chair, demonstrating full engagement and contribution.PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND COMPLIANCEActively engage in and meticulously document participation in professional development and in-service training for learning management systems, pedagogy, and educational teaching methodologies.Maintain exemplary professional relationships with colleagues, students, and the community.Strictly adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook, program handbooks, and department directives.Effectively coordinate and balance the needs of a diverse student population, demonstrating cultural competence and inclusivity.Performance will be rigorously evaluated in the following critical areas:Proficient use of the Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver course content and maintain relevance and currency.Strict adherence to course syllabi and instructional guidelines for assigned courses.Exemplary demonstration of distance education and/or on-ground teaching practices.Superior demonstration of job knowledge and professional judgment.Consistent achievement of student satisfactory academic progress.Exceptional proficiency in planning teaching priorities and meeting deadlines.Unwavering initiative, dependability, reliability, and commitment to teamwork.
