Sanzaru continues to push the boundaries of interactive entertainment and technology on all fronts.Required Skills: Senior Rendering Engineer - Sanzaru Responsibilities:

Ability to communicate with artists directly to understand vision and help enable technology to help meet vision.

Strong Technical communication skills breaking down complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences or engineers outside of rendering.

Collaborating with Artists using Material Graphs to provide guidance, and develop technology solutions to achieve artistic vision.

Profiling GPU/CPU performance.

Identifying performance constraints and effectively communicating in non-technical terms.

Working directly with character, prop, and level artists to achieve high quality visual delivery on VR platforms.

Using expertise in Vulkan to write/update shaders in support of performant visual development.

Comfort working in and out of Game Project code to develop art tools.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

At least 5 years of game industry experience

Experienced shipping a Console, PC or VR game

Experienced with C, Vulkan

Experienced with game engine performance profiling

Experienced working with Unreal engine

Experienced blending and extending an existing codebase

Experienced collaborating with team members across multiple disciplines to bring gameplay to life

BS Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:

Shipping at least one standalone VR title with an emphasis on tackling rendering or performance challenges.

Experience evaluating Material Graph for performance improvements or triaging bugs.

Experience with RenderDoc and similar tools
