Systems Engineer

Description The Senior Analyst is responsible for installing and planning the storage, backup, and disaster recovery infrastructure solutions for data centers and individual sites. · Become a critical member of the team responsible for the planning, implementation, support, and maintenance of infrastructure solutions specific to compute, storage, backup, and disaster recovery. · Daily environmental health monitoring, proactively remediating any identified issues.· Resolution of reported incidents and fulfillment of requests pertaining to the compute infrastructure.· Implement changes utilizing ITIL based change management procedures.· Lead efforts toward the automation and instrumentation of daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on infrastructure hardware end points to ensure optimal performance.· Build pre-defined technical solutions that will enhance performance, increase redundancy, and add flexibility to the existing infrastructure.· Lead the replacement of compute/storage infrastructure in key approved technologies.· Assist in deploying a backup solution across sites that is consistent with guidelines and standards. Requirements · 7 years of senior experience managing Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) environments. (Dell VxRail,, Nutanix AHV, Cisco Hyperflex, etc)· 7 years of senior level Virtualization experience (VMware, or Microsoft Hypervisor)· Comprehensive background in managing Windows servers in an enterprise environment, strong technical knowledge of Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022· Practical experience managing computer/server objects in Active Directory· Demonstrated experience with cloud based compute solutions such as Azure, AWS, Google· Deploying MS SQL· Linux experienceTechnology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
