Job Description:
As a Salon Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our stylists and ensuring that our salon operates smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the beauty industry and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable.
- Assist stylists with various tasks, including draping clients, sectioning hair in preparation for service, shampooing hair, and handing stylist implements during services.
- Maintain a clean and organized salon environment, including sweeping hair, sanitizing tools, and tidying workstations.
- Provide clients with beverages and ensure their needs are met during their visit.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a salon, cosmetology license/student, or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
