Professional development and growth opportunitiesDepartment/Unit SummaryJoin our team in a 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Physicians, Advanced Practitioners, Registered Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. With a 6:1 ratio, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient’s needs, administering treatments and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. This department utilizes self-scheduling application. Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or from a compact state.Required Skills:

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Certifications:

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days and maintain thereafter

AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of hire and maintain thereafter

AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)/ENPC within 1 year of hire and maintain thereafterEEOC Statement
