This position will be responsible for receiving and responding to all requests that come into the policy group, specifically handling VSL (Voluntary Shared Leave), Separations and other actions that are required to be processed in the area. This involves processing, coordinating policies and procedures, work priorities and deadlines. This position will also be responsible for consulting and collaborating with DOT employees within the agency in interpreting and applying personnel and departmental policies in complex, sensitive, or new situations. Additional responsibilities include assisting with training within the agency as it pertains to subject matter specific to Policy and Laws.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / CompetenciesApplicants must submit an application that clearly reflects work experience that demonstrates the following:

Knowledge of the interpretation and application of Federal and State HR laws, policies, and practices governing HR
