Process purchase requests (depending on threshold), add necessary information (e.g. Commodity Code - high ESN quality (ESN), INCOTERMS) to ensure cost-efficient and on-time supply of materials according to demand and taking into account compliance.

Analyze material availability, manage purchase orders incl. tracking; checking of content, to ensure cost-efficient and on time supply of materials according to demand.

Takes care of compliance with Procurement rules of Siemens and usage of Siemens contract partners based on click4suppliers easy and FPL to ensure the usage of competitive Terms & Conditions and by that obtaining highest feasible CNI.

May maintain and update supplier master data (if mandated) in coordination with Regional Procurement in SAP; archive documents according to local regulations to keep the database always accurate and up to date.

May generate savings to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent.

Actively contribute to cooperation with all other parties involved passing on all relevant information to improve the flow of material and value through the supply chain.

Forward systematically all relevant Procurement related project information (e.g. updated contractual conditions, Supplier Management data) to keep all project participants up to date.

Plan and control quantities for assigned logistic processes, inventories and stocks, to ensure a 100% availability of all input factors and to contribute to superior logistic process quality.

You will make impact if you have the following qualifications:Required Qualifications:

BS degree in business, management, supply chain or other related fields

5+ years experience in the following supply chain activities:

Inventory control

Master scheduling

Buying/Procurement

Materials planning

3+ years experience in the following:

Performance leadership and mentorship of a team

SAP proficiency

Partnering effectively with multiple internal departments/ collaborators

Managing multiple vendor/ supplier partnerships

Ability to travel up to 25%, international travel may be needed on occasion

Ability to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of MRP systems

Excel, Word, Power Point and SAP proficiency required

Use tools, processes and metrics to optimize supplier value for our business

Leads by example and motivates people so as to create a challenging, empowering and collaborative working environment

Strong analytical problem solving ability with excellent communication skills

Ability to coordinate between multiple groups in a cross functional environment to achieve objectives

The pay range for this position is $95,700 - $164,100 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
