We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing into our Future Grids portfolio and applications to create the power distribution grid of the future.The EA Business Unit in Wendell, North Carolina, which is its U.S. headquarters, focuses on electric-vehicle charging, photovoltaic inverters, medium-voltage power distribution equipment including packaging and services, and solutions, including automation. Additionally, assembly of electric-vehicle chargers, low-voltage motor control centers, and retrofit and replacement circuit breakers occurs at the facility.We are looking for an OCN Coordinator. This position will be based at Wendell, NC.Reporting to the Planning and Scheduling Manager, the OCN Coordinator will lead the activities involved in OCN execution as assigned at the Siemens plant in Wendell, NC.You’ll make an impact by:

Attend incoming Order Change Notifications (OCN) daily.

Review, analyze, and clarify the instructions, information, and drawings generated in the OCN request.

Check the availability of requested materials and their correct parametrization in the MRP system.

Evaluate and classify impact on cost, delivery time, and production sequence disruption.

Coordinate cost quoting with the Finance department for Customer Changes.

Monitor the implementation of changes until project release and invoicing.

Coordinate with Production, Logistics, Order Management, and Manufacturing to determine the impact on OCN delivery times.

Coordinate a preventive approach with the Engineering and Quality departments.

Analyzes, processes, and evaluates Order Change Notifications.

Capable of locating, understanding, and communicating instructions, plans, and information generated in a change notice.

Proactively and promptly clarifies necessary points with Engineering teams (US and MEX).

Evaluates and promptly assesses the impact on Cost and Delivery Time of each change.

Classifies the final disposition of surplus materials per change request.

Follows up on the proper processing of OCNs from creation to completion.

Timely communicates to preventive and executing OM about the impacts of each OCN.

Ensures that information uploaded by other teams is reliable (hours of labor in production, testing labor, etc).

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

2+ years‘ experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge on all operations in the area, material flow and SAP transactions

Knowledge of product and processes.

Demonstrated multi-tasking skills in a dynamic environment

Experience in empowering the team

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

High School Degree / GED

SAP experience

Experience with Microsoft office

The pay range for this position is $24.79 / hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
