OverviewTITLE: Kettle Worker Driver - Temporary/ Seasonal Position (November to December) LOCATION: The Salvation Army, Wilmington, DE REPORTS TO: Corps Officer SALARY: $15 per hour, non-exempt SCHEDULE Tuesday to Saturday; 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Flexible Hours); Beginning: (November 11, 2024) Ending: (December 24, 2024) FUNCTION:The driver will assist the Kettle Coordinator by assuring that kettles, equipment, workers and volunteers are set up as needed at their assigned kettle locations in a timely fashion. ResponsibilitiesSet up and break down stands at kettle locations. Equipment drop-offs and pick-ups for all assigned locations. Picking up and dropping off meal allowance workers. Provide support and breaks for meal allowance workers.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Diploma or GED required
Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required
Good communications skills
Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by Delaware’s Beau Biden Law based on information found on the SBI and FBI Criminal Record Checks.
