Staff Accountant

Description Robert Half is partnering with a medical company who is offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Wilmington, Delaware! You will be part of an industry that is dynamic and fast-paced where you will be primarily in charge of maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers. You will also be performing general bookkeeping and assisting with the preparation of monthly closure procedures.Responsibilities: Accurate processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Conducting regular Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy Maintenance and updating of the General Ledger Preparation and submission of Journal Entries Assisting with Month End Close procedures and reporting Proficient use of QuickBooks for financial procedures and record keeping Ensuring all accounting tasks are performed efficiently and accuratelyIf you or anyone you know is immediately available for work and interested in learning more, don't wait and apply online today!Requirements Candidate must possess at least 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar. Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management is mandatory. Demonstrated experience in Bank Reconciliations is required. Must have a solid understanding and working experience with the General Ledger. Proficiency in preparing and posting Journal Entries is necessary. Experience in Month End Close activities is essential. Must have hands-on experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
