Field Data Collector

Field Appraisers are responsible for visiting properties and gathering detailed information on real property, including square footage, number of stories, construction details, construction materials, outbuildings, and occasionally interacting with property owners. On the job training is provided and experience is not required. Travel is required for this position. The company’s average contract is less than two years, you will be required to travel from contract to contract as needed. Pearson’s Appraisal Service will provide company housing in the location of the working contract, either possible use of company car or per diem pay of $25 for the use of one’s personal vehicle with applicable insurance, and gas reimbursement. Minimum 2 years college education. A valid driver’s license, and an appropriate driving record are required. Good communication skills, self-motivation, average knowledge in working with technology and an ability to work outside of an office environment are important traits for the position.
