The Press Operator will process Tinplate and Wire-mesh material into finished and semi-finished product via various slitting, cutting, and punching techniques.Shift Hours:  Monday - Thursday, 2:30 pm - 12:30 am (shift differential for 2nd shift)Essential Functions/ResponsibilitiesSafely and efficiently process Tinplate and Wire-mesh material into finished and semi-finished product via various slitting, cutting, and punching techniques, by:Accurately reading and interpreting work order instructions.Proficiently operating punch presses, obtaining hourly production rates, and promptly recording material usage and hourly production tracking boards.Precisely following production priorities and sequences to meet Tinplate Filter customer requirements.Promptly notify supervisor(s) of any problems or machine malfunctions that create barriers for meeting output requirements.Accurately complete quality checks and immediately notify supervisor(s) of any out-of-tolerance readings.Continuously maintain a safe, clean and organized workstation, including equipment cleanliness.
