Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are in search of a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to be a part of our team, situated in AVON LAKE, Ohio. This role is primarily centered around the processing and maintenance of customer applications and records, with a keen eye on customer accounts. This is a short-term contract position that entails working onsite.Responsibilities: Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications Maintenance of precise customer credit records Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions Conducting check runs Managing SG& A expenses Performing basic Accounts Payable duties Handling additional tasks as required Ensuring attention to detail in all tasks Applying skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Account Reconciliation, and Coding InvoicesRequirements Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) procedures Experienced in conducting Check Runs Skilled in Coding Invoices Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently Proficient in Invoice Processing Proficient in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong organizational skills Willingness to continue learning and improving accounting skills Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
