My name is Drew, and I own a local home improvement company. We are in the process of expanding into 2 new markets. I’m currently looking to meet and interview new people. We will have a bunch of openings and rather than place an add and interview for specific jobs I’d rather meet people, see what they are interested in, what skillset they have and if we would be a good fit. Over the years I’ve hired sales reps who end up being horrible sales reps but phenomenal project managers. I’ve hired installers who transferred to sales and were great sales reps. My thought process is simple. First I find someone with good work ethic, integrity and grit. Character traits I can’t teach.
