Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are offering a 3-6 month contract opportunity in the manufacturing industry for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is central to our financial operations, focusing primarily on credit collections and account reconciliation tasks. As a key member of our team, you will research and dispute claims, monitor customer accounts, and engage in invoice collection work, among other responsibilities.Responsibilities: Research and dispute claims, chargebacks, and deductions. Monitor customer vendor portals for holds. Conduct account reconciliation Collect invoices Utilize Microsoft Excel and other software tools like Oracle and QuickBooks for data management and analysis. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other associates and supervisors. Ensure accuracy with numbers and data entry. Prioritize tasks effectively to manage time and meet deadlines. Work independently and take initiative in resolving issues and improving processes.Requirements Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Receivable Clerk role or similar within the manufacturing industry Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) Demonstrable experience in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections Prior experience with Commercial Collections is a must Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
