Job Description:Role Summary/Purpose:As a member of the Pricing COE team, this role is primarily responsible for execution of the APR Relook process, which is a regulatory required process for domestic consumer credit card products. The process includes reviewing individual accounts which have received an APR increase, evaluating if those accounts qualify for a decrease, and if so, executing and communicating a reduction in APR to the cardholder.We're proud to offer you choice and flexibility. Occasionally you may be required to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events.Essential Responsibilities:
This role has primary responsibility to execute each repeatable APR Relook campaign, which occur every 5 months:
Ensure risks and issues are promptly escalated to the appropriate level through the prescribed protocol or seek guidance as needed.
Identify opportunities to streamline and make the overall processes as efficient as possible.
Become a subject matter expert on applicable regulations involving APR Relook.
This includes gathering business requirements, gaining appropriate sign-off, planning and hitting key milestones, issue management, and reporting.
Creation and management of reference files.
Ensure all regulatory required deadlines are met.
Lead efforts of cross functional team, including other members of the Credit Products Pricing team, CSS-IT, Compliance, Legal, and Analytics.
Provide leadership and guidance to analytics resources on APR Relook.
Maintain a framework to determine qualified APR reductions based on internal analysis and output from Fiserv.
Report on activities and results to the Pricing Subcommittee and leadership teams on a periodic basis
Ensure Synchrony complies with laws, regulations and legislation, including but not limited to Regulation Z and AA, Fair Lending and UDAAP.
Monitor robotic process automation jobs to ensure required account updates occur monthly
Partner with other teams, such as credit card portfolio conversion teams or strategic initiative teams, to ensure compatibility with APR Relook.
Partner with other Credit Products Pricing team members to ensure coverage for extended vacations, holidays, etc.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of degree, 8 years equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years in financial services in any capacity.
Desired Characteristics:
Experience operating in a heavily regulated-compliance environment
Experience with decision management tools (this process utilizes Fiserv's Predigy product)
Fiserv (fka FDR) knowledge
Experience with SYF data warehouses
Excellent team and leadership skills
Proven ability to work cross functionally

Project Management and process improvement experience

Grade/Level: 11The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
