Candidates will be serving as a welder in a manufacturing setting.
Candidate will be performing MIG welding on structural steel.
Welders will be working with manufacturing blueprints to complete work on a daily basis.
Job Responsibilities:
Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining structural steel to specifications.
Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately.
Determining correct gas ratios for welding purposes.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting as required.
Testing the strength of each join during and after project completion.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 plus years of experience in welding position
2 years of experience with MIG Welding
Sound understanding of welding safety
Willingness to be welding certified through company
Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Pipe welding not required, but translates well!
Ability to pass a leak test on structural steel
