Job Description:

As a Used Car Mechanic at Auto Joes Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the vehicles we sell are in optimal condition. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, conducting routine maintenance, and thoroughly inspecting vehicles to guarantee they meet our rigorous quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on used vehicles to ensure their reliability and safety.

Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, identifying and documenting any issues.

Perform tasks such as engine repairs, brake and suspension work, and electrical system repairs.

Collaborate with the sales team to communicate vehicle condition and recommended repairs.

Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and meet industry standards.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace and tools.

Keep up-to-date with industry developments and continually improve your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; formal automotive training and certification is a plus.

Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, with a focus on used cars.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of a wide range of vehicle systems and components.

Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A valid driver's license.
