Maintains accurate and timely documentation of care provided to clients and employees. Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Current Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of Ohio.
3 years of professional RN clinical experience.
Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
Current Ohio Driver’s License.
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience making presentations to a wide range of audiences.
Demonstrated ability to identify and effectively resolve problems/issues.
Strong critical thinking, abstract thinking, and analytical skills.
Ability to embrace change and adapt to quickly evolving situations.
Ability to establish and cultivate productive and positive working relationships with a wide range of partners, including MetroHealth staff, external clients, and community constituents.
Demonstrated competence and experience using Microsoft Office software products; Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Ability to take clinical on-call time and work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends.
Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice, including basic knowledge relating to nursing such as biological, physical, psychosocial, and medical sciences and their applications.
Thorough knowledge of the use and care of instruments, equipment, and supplies related to nursing service or ambulatory medical practice.
Thorough knowledge of the theory and principles of medical asepsis.
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Nursing or in a related healthcare field
