Description We are in the manufacturing industry and are situated in CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio. Our team is searching for an Assistant Controller who will be primarily responsible for maintaining and enhancing our financial processes and systems. This role is integral to our operations and will be tasked with a variety of duties that ensure the effective management of our financial resources.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, auditing, and budget processes Maintain a thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP and apply this knowledge in all financial procedures Use accounting software systems and ERP solutions effectively for financial management and reporting Collaborate with team members to solve problems and improve financial processes Utilize Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, to develop accurate and detailed financial analyses Lead and influence peers and the leadership team to achieve financial objectives Exhibit strong leadership skills in coaching and mentoring staff, championing diversity, and promoting a collaborative team environment Apply technical accounting expertise in managing the company's financial resources Use mid to large scale accounting/ERP systems proficiently for managing various modules including general ledger, payables, receivables, reporting, budgeting, inventory, purchase order, sales order, payroll, and others. Requirements Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Familiar with ADP - Financial Services Demonstrated experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Knowledge of ERP Solutions Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) Ability to perform Accounting Functions Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Auditing procedures Understanding of Budget Processes.
