Description We are looking for a diligent Legal Secretary to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. As a Legal Secretary, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to attorneys, maintaining case documents, and handling client inquiries in a professional manner within the legal industry. Responsibilities: Efficiently support 3 to 4 attorneys with administrative tasks. Actively participate in e-filing and litigation processes. Maintain and update client records with accuracy. Handle customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions. Monitor client accounts and take necessary action when required. Utilize skills in Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Civil Litigation Experience, and Civil Rights Litigation. Assure smooth operation of office administrative tasks. Provide general practice support within the law firm. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Requirements Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role within the legal industry. Proficient in Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Civil Litigation Experience, and Civil Rights Litigation. Ability to prepare legal documents, correspondence, and reports efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and legal professionals. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Must be a team player with the ability to work independently when required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Willingness to continue learning and improving legal knowledge and skills.
