Description We are in the manufacturing industry, located in DAYTON, Ohio, seeking a System Admin to join our team. The role encompasses managing and maintaining our computer hardware, software, and networking systems. You will play a crucial role in the development, testing, installation, and configuration of our computer and networking systems.Responsibilities: Design system configuration and direct system installation to establish networking environment Document and enforce system standards to define infrastructure Monitor infrastructure performance and optimize network in collaboration with network architects Troubleshoot infrastructure problems and outages, schedule upgrades Install, configure, and maintain network services, hardware, systems, and software Monitor network usage by employees and devices, ensuring optimal use of resources Maintain and support Cisco Phone system Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewall protection Coordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution Assist system admin and help desk staff in resolving issues beyond their scope or skill set Analyze and resolve system faults, ensuring minimal downtime Conduct security assessments to safeguard system integrity. Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in a System Admin role within the manufacturing industry Proficiency in Cisco ASA Firewall Cisco CCNA certification required Knowledge and experience with Cisco Voice Over Internet (Voip) Familiarity with SolarWinds software for network analysis Experience with VMware virtualization software Proficient with Microsoft Server Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Demonstrated commitment to staying up-to-date with latest technologies and industry trends.
