East Liverpool's medical staff is comprised of more than 160 physicians with an additional 21 resident physicians completing their training in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. Be responsible and accountable directly to the Quality Director.
Facilitate and coordinate the key elements of the Chest Pain Center Accreditation/Stroke Certification process, including development and review of protocols, initial and ongoing training, performance improvement, and community outreach.
Collaborate with the Emergency Department, ED Director, Chest Pain Committee, Stroke Committee, EMS, hospital department directors, and staff.
Qualifications
Current and valid state RN License.
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire and stay current
A minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute care hospital environment.
Excellent clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills essential.
Team approach to patient care.
Working knowledge of computers and computer applications.
Day and evening flexibility required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
