Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Certified Industrial Painter - Bearings (2nd shift).The hourly rate for this position is $25.52 per hour.The hours for the second shift are as follows; 3:30 pm - 12:00 am.What you’ll do:The Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division of Eaton’s Aerospace Group has an opening for an Industrial Spray Technician. This position is based in Euclid, OH.The Euclid facility has approximately 300 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace Fuel Pumping components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.Position Overview: Follow print specifications and established operating procedures, perform a variety of operations to fabricate bearing assemblies and apply coatings to a variety of hardware. Perform visual and dimensional inspections and maintain accurate documentation on a variety of parts in accordance with ANSI Y14-5 and the certified operator program. Assistance may be given other operators on proper operational procedures. Perform housekeeping and other job related duties as assigned by supervisor.Essential Functions: Perform preparatory work such as unpacking, visual inspection, degreasing, blasting, masking, plugging, and wrapping, etc., to screen surfaces for spray application according to blueprints, operational sketches, specification sheets, and tool lists. Perform acid dip of aluminum bearings prior to epoxy operation per operational sketches. Mix spray compounds according to specifications. Prepare solutions, paying particular attention to volumetric, viscosity and specific gravity requirements. Clean, adjust and fill spray equipment. Check equipment for proper operation. On coatings requiring a drying or curing cycle, set oven, or other drying equipment controls to specified temperature and time. Apply coatings to specified thicknesses. Use electronic gages (such as Permascope) and other measuring/testing equipment as provided to determine if thickness meets specifications. Lap and/or ball burnish coated surface to bring into finished tolerances. Perform all post-operative work such as removing masks, tape and plugs and use solvent to clean up parts as required. Maintain component build records per government contract requirements. Handle all materials carefully. No open flame permitted. Operator must wear fume mask in posted areas. Perform necessary part marking. Move material within the cell. Chart, plot and react to data per SPC requirement. Load and unload Datamytes. Maintain accurate lot control (QCP 6.0) traceability, record keeping, log book entries, NCR’s (QCP 11.0) and associated documentation. Perform minor equipment maintenance. May be required to perform more than one operation at a time as directed by the supervisor. May be required to burr work internal to the cycle. Perform sub-assembly work.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Must reside within a 50 mile radius of work location; no relocation benefit is provided. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Minimum one (1) year of machining experience OR Minimum one (1) year of industrial painting experience#LI-SB2Position Criteria: Complete an Eaton approved training program within 30 days.
