Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team. The role is based in Fremont, Ohio, and will involve working in a dynamic industry, where you will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management. Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and maintenance of general ledgers. Handle account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation tasks. Manage bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded. Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. Conduct month-end close processes in a timely and efficient manner. Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions to ensure accurate and timely payment processing. Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy of all financial records. Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations. Collaborate with financial team and other stakeholders to optimize financial operations. Adhere to all company policies and comply with all relevant regulatory requirements. Requirements Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant Proficient in General Ledger and Journal Entries Ability to use Microsoft Excel at an advanced level Experience in Month End Close procedures Knowledge and experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred CPA certification is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to business needs Proficiency in using accounting software and databases Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information Strong organizational and time management skills.
