HR Specialist

Description We are seeking an HR Specialist to join our team in Obetz, Ohio. As a part of our HR team, you will be responsible for managing employee timesheets, making necessary adjustments, and communicating with supervisors for approval. This role is part of a manufacturing company and requires on-site work for three days a week, including mandatory Mondays. Responsibilities: Verify hours on employee timesheets electronically Make necessary adjustments to timesheets for any errors Communicate with supervisors to get approval for changes on timesheets Interact with employees face-to-face to address any concerns or issues Handle upset employees and find solutions to their problems Use HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems to manage and maintain employee records Utilize skills in Paycom, Employee Timesheets, Review Timesheets, Approved Timesheets, and Employee Changes to effectively perform duties. Requirements Proven experience in the role of an HR Specialist or similar HR positions Proficiency in HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems Skills in using Paycom software for various HR functions Ability to handle employee timesheets, including reviewing, approving, and managing changes Experience working in an HR Department and understanding its various functions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity Knowledge of employment laws and regulations Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Detail-oriented with high standards of accuracy.
