Please note, this role is 100% onsite. Key Responsibilities:
Job Costing: Analyze production costs for materials, labor, and overhead; track variances and prepare profitability and efficiency reports.
Standard Costing: Establish and update standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead, and conduct detailed variance analysis to support profitability.
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, conduct physical counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner closely with plant management, production staff, and corporate finance to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or production.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, especially in job costing and inventory management.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ViewPoint) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
ERP system experience preferred
Requirements Position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting or a related field
Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is essential Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is desired Experience with Crystal Reports is a plus Working knowledge of Epicor software is preferred Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required Candidates must be capable of performing Accounting Functions accurately and efficiently Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary Auditing skills are crucial for this role Knowledge of Budget Processes is required Candidates should have experience in handling Cash Activity.
