Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role is within the finance industry and will require a meticulous individual to manage customer accounts and process financial data. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records with accuracy and efficiency.Responsibilities: Accurately process and record company invoices, ensuring all are coded correctly. Conduct regular check runs to maintain the financial health of the organization. Manage accounts payable using software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. Handle data entry tasks with a high level of precision. Use Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data. Assist in account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting. Handle invoice processing tasks, ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely manner. Respond to customer inquiries, providing accurate information and resolving any issues. Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate action when necessary. Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications. Requirements Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP Experience in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP) Ability to perform check runs and coding invoices Strong data entry and invoice processing skills Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in work Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within a team Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information High degree of professionalism and strong ethical standards.
