Senior Tax Accountant

Description We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join a dynamic tax team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role entails performing various tax-related functions within the industry and using specific skills such as Intuit Lacerte, QuickBooks, Payroll Taxes, Microsoft Word, Financial Statement Preparation, and Microsoft Excel. This firm does NOT require overtime during the busy season and has a flex schedule during the non-busy season. Responsibilities: Prepare financial statements using Microsoft Excel and Word. Utilization of Intuit Lacerte for tax-related tasks. Execution of Payroll Taxes duties. Accurate processing and recording of company transactions. Use of QuickBooks for financial tasks and reporting. Ensuring compliance with state and federal tax laws and regulations. Assisting in the development of tax strategies and planning. Performing ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed. Ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns. Requirements A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field 3+ years as a tax accountant, tax analyst or tax preparer CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
