OKC Home Remodeling & Construction is a leading construction firm specializing in high-quality residential construction projects. With over 10 years of industry experience, we are dedicated to excellence and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking an experienced General Contractor to join our team and oversee various residential projects.
Responsibilities:
This is a HANDS-ON position in addition to project oversight. We need someone who doesn't just KNOW, but can DO.
Manage and oversee all aspects of residential construction projects from planning to completion.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site workers.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
Schedule and manage inspections and quality control measures.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
Maintain detailed project documentation and reports.
Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
Extensive experience as a General Contractor in residential construction.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid contractor's license and insurance as required by state law.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
