This role is all about preventing problems before they happen. As the Safety Coordinator, you’ll partner directly with plant leadership to strengthen a proactive safety culture, reduce risk, and keep the operation compliant, efficient, and incident-free. You’ll be the eyes, ears, and voice of safe manufacturing practices on the floor — especially during the busy second shift.What You’ll DoSupport the Safety Manager in updating and implementing safety programs aligned with federal, state, and local regulations.Review day-to-day plant operations and recommend improvements to reduce risk and eliminate hazards.Lead incident reporting and investigations, including root-cause analysis and corrective action tracking.Deliver monthly safety training to all associates; adjust content as needed to increase effectiveness.Conduct specialized training (OSHA topics, equipment safety, etc.) and assess training outcomes.Perform regular safety audits, inspections, and documentation to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.Promote a strong, consistent safety culture across all teams on shift.
