Fuel Control Technician

Aerotek on behalf of it's client is seeking technicians working in a component overhaul shop. The Technician will disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, test, and certify fuel control systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters. MOS 15T, 15U, 15R, 15D, 15G, 15B any other MOS that has done maintenance or structures on helicopters or any other aircraft are welcome to apply.20% - Read and interprets maintenance manuals, or other technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform the assigned tasks.20% - Cleans and inspects fuel controls and parts for damage and wear using visual examination and special tooling and equipment. Follows shop standard work procedures for clean up and equipment preventive maintenance.20% - Replaces or repairs damaged or worn fuel control parts using general hand tools, special tools, pneumatic tools and precision measuring equipment. Assembles components with same tools and equipment.20% - Uses special tools and/or equipment performs tests and/or checks as required to confirm fuel control serviceability.20% - Properly documents all inspection findings and work performed/corrective action in the appropriate maintenance records to meet established standards.Skills:fuel controls, aircraftAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Experience in fuel system component overhaul or turbine engine accessory overhaulMilitary or commercial turbine engine maintenance and/or component maintenance training preferredExperience Level:Entry LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
