Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist situated in Beaverton, Oregon. This role involves various tasks related to the accounts payable process within our organization. The position requires a blend of accounting and administrative skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Accurately processing manual A/P invoices per week. Ensuring three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and received goods/services. Conducting weekly manual check runs. Regularly communicating with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues. Performing credit card reconciliations in a timely manner.Requirements Must possess a comprehensive understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) Should have an intermediate proficiency in using Microsoft Excel Must have 10 Key Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred 2+ years of previous experience in a clerical accounting role is desirable Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information Strong problem-solving abilities.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
