Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge is looking for a polished, confident and friendly Maitre’D / Lead Host to join our front-of-house leadership team. This role is the face of our dining room and plays a key part in ensuring every guest receives warm, seamless, elevated service from the moment they walk in.
What You’ll Do:
-Lead and support the host team during service
-Manage the dining room flow, waitlist, and pacing with precision
-Oversee reservations, special requests, and guest communication through OpenTable
-Provide hands-on support to FOH leadership
-Potential to take on closing manager responsibilities for the right candidate
-Maintain an elevated but relaxed guest experience consistent with our upscale-casual brand
-Assist with training, standards, and creating a positive team culture
What We’re Looking For:
-High-volume restaurant experience required
-Strong proficiency with OpenTable (managing books, pacing, and communication)
-Confident, professional, and warm presence in a busy environment
-Excellent communication and leadership skills
-Reliability, organization, and a guest-first mindset
-Interest in growing with a fast-growing hospitality group — lots of room for advancement
