We are looking for a dependable Construction Technician to join our team. This position will primarily focus on in house residential remodel projects, with additional support on excavation and site work jobs as needed. The right candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and takes pride in quality workmanship and jobsite professionalism.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety, likes to learn new things, and doesn’t mind getting dirty and working hard.
The types of jobs you will be working on include remodel of existing houses in very rough shape inside and out.
Small footprint new construction (800 sq ft ADU’s)
Supporting role on site work and utility install projects
Our projects are located throughout Central Oregon. Bend, Redmond, Madras, La Pine.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform general construction tasks on all phases of residential remodel projects (demo, framing, painting, roofing, trim work)
Assist on site work jobs when needed, (checking grade, pipe laying, potholes utilities, raking rock)
Safely operate hand and power tools
Load, unload, and organize materials on job sites
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Follow plans, instructions, and jobsite safety procedures
Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
Hauling trailers for delivering materials, dump trailer for dump runs
Qualifications
Previous construction experience preferred (remodel, excavation, or site work a plus)
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
Good physical condition; able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions
Basic understanding of construction tools and materials
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Preferred (Not Required)
Familiarity with excavation or underground utilities
Equipment operation experience (skid steer, mini-excavator, etc.)
