Regenerative Roots is hiring a part-time Nature Mentor to support The Woods, a Nature Mentoring Program offered for kids 6yrs – 16yrs, and their families. We spend 100% outdoors, engaging in discovery within all weather conditions in Monmouth, on Tuesday and Thursday.

THE WOODS homeschool program uses Nature Mentoring, Nature Craft, & Ancestral Skills to build and strengthen relational intelligence and awareness, supporting greater wholeness of self through physical, mental, and emotional practices. These practices activate multi-layered confidence and provide the critical thinking and collaboration tools to encourage youth, teens, and adults to step forward into one's authentic self; and when applied academically or socially, provide the skills to enable deep exploration in learning and relationship.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide program and participant support and facilitate small group activities aimed at developing and deepening:

o Relational awareness

o Regenerative nature connection practices

o Bushcraft and naturalist skills

o Sensory and emotional-relational awareness

o Individual and community resilience

Embody the art of mentoring, which includes:

o Questioning, listening, and catching stories

o Holistic Tracking

WORK SCHEDULE (12hrs per week):

o 13 weeks: 9/10- 12/5 (off on 11/28)

o Tuesday AND Thursday

o 9:30am - 3:30pm

o $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
