The Role:
We are seeking an active, detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. You will be the face of our shop, helping customers select materials, cutting fabric with precision, and maintaining the visual appeal of the store. This is a physically active role that requires moving inventory and setting up displays.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide friendly, helpful customer service.
Precisely measure and cut fabric for customers.
Restock inventory and organize bolts of fabric.
Process transactions at the register.
Assist with store displays and merchandising.
Physical Requirements (Essential):
Heavy Lifting: Must be able to lift and carry boxes and bolts of fabric weighing up to 40 lbs.
Climbing: Must be comfortable climbing a 6-ft ladder to hang quilts and arrange high displays.
Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
Preferred Qualifications (Not required, but a huge plus!):
Experience with sewing, quilting, or textile arts.
Experience with website management, inventory data entry, or e-commerce.
