Knowledge of Oregon rental practices, fair housing, and local housing resources such as: Lane County Coordinated Entry, Permanent Supportive Housing, Rapid-Rehousing, and other subsidized housing programs.Work with our clients experiencing homelessness to help overcome barriers or issues that affect their ability to obtain and retain housing and move toward self-sufficiency. Support clients with obtaining long-term stable housing. Meet program expectations of housing 1-2 clients per month.Refer clients to appropriate agencies for specialized services and/or counseling. Outsource to local resources when needed.Complete documents and forms, maintain records and files, and schedule appointmentsEngage in efficient documentation practices such as creating weekly client case notes, documenting appointments, referrals, service transactions, and financial support. This includes documenting all payments for services provided to clients.Engage with clients on a daily basis to support with a variety of needs. This could include de-escalation, harm reduction, and practicing trauma informed care.Utilize crisis intervention to problem solve and de-escalate residents who may experience a variety of co-occurring disorders such as mental health and substance use disabilities.Meet with clients on a weekly basis to address any behavioral challenges, address living space, and support engagement with program policies and expectations.Support with any facility needs such as cleaning, serving meals, or providing basic needs to residents.Support program mission to exceed contractual obligations with Lane County.Other duties assigned
