Uncle Sun restaurant
We're seeking a friendly and efficient full-time Server/Cashier to join our restaurant family. In this role, you'll be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while handling food orders and managing transactions for our authentic Szechuan cuisine that blends traditional flavors with modern presentation.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service
Process customer orders accurately through our POS system and delivery platforms
Handle cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions
Maintain accurate cash drawer and end-of-shift reconciliation
Ensure cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations
Assist customers with menu questions and provide recommendations
Package takeout orders and prepare delivery handoffs
Follow all restaurant protocols for customer service and cash handling
Qualifications
Strongly prefer 1+ years experience in customer service or food service
Strongly prefer Chinese-speaking candidates
Basic knowledge of Chinese/Asian cuisine a plus
Cash handling experience and basic math skills
Friendly, positive attitude and professional appearance
Ability to work efficiently during busy periods
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Food Handler's certification required
Experience with POS systems preferred
