Do you want to learn more?

We have an immediate opening for an Executive Assistant. The person hired for this position will provide support to our Executive Team leaders, colleagues, staff, and training participants. It is a unique role that will benefit from someone having a strong background and belief in supporting entities that seek to engage and promote healthy change in people’s lives. The person in this role will be working as a self-starter who collaborates well with others and takes direction to create while maintaining fidelity to a well-established structure. They will demonstrate exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail that can be applied to complex and confidential administrative tasks (such as payroll assistance and board meeting minutes). We are looking for someone who thrives on a balance of organization, flexibility, creativity, and structure.

The Executive Assistant will also:

Provide editing support and work collaboratively with the Director of Implementation and Training to make adaptations to existing training manuals for culture and context.

Prepare training materials for off-site and on-site workshops, ship and track as required.

Make travel arrangements.

Perform various administrative duties, such as recording meeting minutes, sending and tracking invoices, assisting with payroll and other HR tasks, scheduling meetings.

This position may be a good match if the following describes you:

Capable. You have relevant human services experience or an interest in learning. Experience and comfort with behavioral approaches is helpful but at the end of the day, you are committed to supporting projects that are helping families achieve positive change.

Collaborative. You are able to relate comfortably with a wide variety of people and can effectively troubleshoot problems that arise. You are motivated to collaborate with team members on best solutions. Building relationships and being sensitive to each other’s differences is important to you. You may be results oriented with strong initiative and self-direction, but you also understand results are best achieved when working as a team.

Action-oriented. Juggling projects while keeping track of the details energizes you. You are willing to explore multiple sources for information and can discern what is relevant/significant and what is not. You enjoy the complex work, just as much as the daily responsibilities. Others may comment on your service-oriented attitude and look forward to your interactions.

Flexible. You are looking for a part-time position and are comfortable working approximately 18-22 hours per week. Additional hours are welcomed during intense workshop preparation periods (several times/year). You demonstrate responsibility, professionalism, and dependability in daily work habits.

To do this job, you will typically have:

Exceptional skills in MS Office, familiarity with graphic design programs and ability to learn new software tools.

The ability to attend to a high level of detail.

The ability to organize time for multi-tasking on a day-to-day basis or create focused time for specific projects.

Above average communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams, across projects and positions. Spanish language skills are helpful but not required.

Now it’s our turn. Here is what we have to offer you:

Global perspective. We offer the opportunity to work with others from races, ethnicities, cultures and contexts different than your own. This will allow you to learn from others who have different perspectives. Having diverse teams helps us to generate ideas that are new, different and better.

Strengths-based approach. Our supportive, inclusive work environment is designed to support your strengths in both your personal and professional growth. We love the work that we do and will provide you with opportunities to shine in every step of your career. The strengths-based approach is woven throughout every aspect of our organization and our work with others.

Opportunity to make a difference. GenerationPMTO is an evidence-based, structured parenting program designed to help strengthen families at all levels. Our organization is there to help make things better. If you are looking to be a part of something greater, join our team and help us reach our goal of helping therapists help parents.

You will have the opportunity to work with amazing co-workers in an environment that values diversity, inclusion, and work/life balance.

We also offer a competitive compensation and benefits package for this part-time position (medical insurance, 12 paid holidays, as well as sick and vacation time).
