Summary: The HVAC Service Manager leads staff members who install, repair and maintain HVAC systems. This manager routinely works directly with service and installation technicians, dispatch personnel, other managers, and Leadership team to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting departmental and company goals and objectives. Presenting yourself as a senior company representative, the HVAC Service Manager often communicates directly with customers for top-tier customer satisfaction, vendors and suppliers to ensure accurate communication of job or project status and requirements.
Compensation: $100 - $120k Annual Salary
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Work Location: Grants Pass, OR

Responsibilities, include but not limited to:
Hire, train, and supervise HVAC technicians.
Motivate and develop the service team, ensuring they are skilled and engaged.
Evaluate performance, provide feedback, and address issues.
Collaborative work with Call Center Manager and staff for planning and scheduling service calls, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Develop and implement service standards and procedures.
Ensure that materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs.
Manage and track service records, ensuring accurate documentation
Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
Enhance customer experience by capturing key information and sharing it with technicians.
Manage budgets for service operations.
Monitor expenses and ensure profitability.
Possess a strong understanding of HVAC systems and equipment.
Be able to diagnose problems and recommend solutions
Communicate clearly and effectively with technicians, clients, and other stakeholders.
Identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
Valid and insurable driver’s license with clean driving record.
Additional on-the-job training provided.
Have verifiable work history and references.
Strong and successful management experience.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and equipment.
Ability to motivate, train, and supervise a team.
Able to communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely with other team members of all departments, management, and customers in person, by phone and email.
Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work in small spaces.
Must be highly motivated, detailed oriented, able to multi-task, be highly skilled in problem solving and accurate resolutions, have a keen sense of urgency, be flexible, and demonstrate the ability to follow through on tasks timely and effectively.
Have a great attitude that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
Must be punctual with a clean presentation of them self and be prepared to work every day to provide reliable support for your team with excellent timeliness and attendance.
