This is a unique opportunity to exchange part-time household help for a comfortable private room in a welcoming home.
You’d be assisting a professional single gentleman with light household duties and helping care for his 200-pound English Mastiff. Gus is a gentle giant with canine Asperger’s syndrome (he’s sweet, quirky, and delightfully particular).
Responsibilities
Light house cleaning and laundry
Meal preparation and grocery shopping (Costco runs, healthy dinners, and snacks)
Occasional pet care — feeding, walks, and companionship
Helping keep things organized and running smoothly
About You
You’re upbeat, organized, and responsible, with a warm and easygoing nature.
You enjoy cooking, take pride in a tidy environment, and love animals — especially large dogs with big personalities.
Requirements
Must love dogs (and not be intimidated by one the size of a small horse)
Organized, trustworthy, and friendly
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
Ability to provide references and pass a background check
Compensation
This position offers a private room and cash comp in exchange for part-time work.
