Position Type: Full-time, Salary

Location: Office & Job Sites; Portland, OR

Wage Scale: $55,000 - $90,000 annually

Benefits: Full-time Regular Employees (and their families) can enroll in medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and 401K. Employees will also accrue 80 hours of paid vacation per year for the first 9 years and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

Responsibilities:

-Supervises a crew of installers, including hiring, terminating, evaluations and disciplinary action.

-Responsible for training and development of crew and other production staff.

-Responsible for ensuring all jobs are completed to specification and standards.

-Reviews job schedule daily

-Supervises loading procedures ensuring that installers have proper materials, equipment and safety gear.

-Visits job sites, reviews work in progress in terms of productivity and safety standards and completes safety observations.

-Interacts with customers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.

-Reviews timecards for accuracy and completeness.

-Reviews reports to ensure materials are available for future projects.

-Informs Risk Management of all work-related incidents and accidents.

-Conducts safety meetings regularly and reviews equipment for maintaining safety standards.

-Responsible for daily tracking and proper maintenance of truck fleet.

-Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.

-Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

-Previous superintent experience in consutction

-Previous experience installing fireplaces and/or garage doors is a plus

-2 years of supervisory experience in industry.

-Must be able to operate a computer and various office equipment and software.

-Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

-Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

-Ability to problem solve and identify problems.

-Ability to collaborate and work with others.

-Regular attendance is required.

-Valid OR Driver’s License with good driving record.
