Customer Service - Parts & Service Desk

LANDA Northwest seeking a motivated customer service person to work our parts & service desk. It’s part phone work and part face to face with customers. It’s fast-paced much of the time. You will have a seated work area but be on your feet quite a bit. Must be able to provide positive customer service interactions. Must be a good communicator. Moderate computer experience with retail cashiering is helpful. Also word, outlook, excel helpful. However, we will Train the right person as the position is entry level.

About us. We are an industrial/commercial water cleaning systems dealer. We have a sales, parts, and service team focused on commercial pressure washers, parts washers, and water reclamation systems. As such, the position is hands on, and the eventual candidate will be trained to work mostly autonomously handling cashiering, phones, inputting orders, and working through customer concerns and questions. We also check in and write service requests as customers drop off equipment for repair. Much of the job is in this type of an all-facet support capacity.

Other duties include inventory-based work, such as checking in freight, stocking freight, and organization of our parts room and showroom areas. Perhaps some occasional clean-up duties as well. Additionally, some forklift operation and light warehouse work is necessary. We will forklift train; however, a valid driver’s license is required.

The position starts at $21 hour. The schedule would be M-F, 8am-430pm. Weekends off. All major holidays are paid. Company 401k and health benefit programs are available. We are a smaller family-owned business. Our owners are local and mostly engaged remotely, leaving the day-to-day operations to their employees.

Much of our team has worked here for over 10-20 years and have much experience to pass on and offer in the way of training. We are also the original LANDA store founded in the late 1960’s right here in Portland. Currently we're still routinely ranked in the top 5 locations in sales nationally within the LANDA/KARCHER Group. Our team totals typically 10 -15 employees.
