We are looking for a creative, artistic, nurturing teacher to work with us in our sweet little school. We need a teacher who has worked in a certified center or certified in-home program for at least one year with experience with either preschool or infant/toddler or both as we are a blended age program. Creativity and sense of humor a must! A love of working closely with children and their families in a professional and personable manner is important.
Classroom management abilities are a must! If you are a natural leader then this should come easily to you.
We are a highly sought out school and have been a licensed in-home program for over 7 years. We are a Lifeways/Waldorf inspired program and focus on home as the curriculum with weekly baking, daily/seasonal literacy enrichment, music twice a month, seasonal gardening and outdoor play rain or shine. We have a small group size with 12-14 kids and 3 teachers and a cook!
This is a part time position to start and can work into more hours for a strong teacher with great classroom management and child engagement skills.
