Description Samantha Younes with Robert Half is in search of a meticulous and driven Credit Clerk to be part of our team based in Portland, Oregon. This role is within our Accounting department and is vital in ensuring the smooth running of our customer credit operations. The individual will be tasked with processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and handling customer credit inquiries. Responsibilities: Processing customer credit applications in an accurate and timely manner Maintaining up-to-date and precise records of customer credit Resolving customer inquiries related to credit in a professional and efficient manner Monitoring customer credit accounts regularly and taking necessary actions for delinquent payments Picking up mail from the post office daily, processing and distributing it appropriately Managing the digital inbox, including opening, printing, stamping, coding and distributing mail Undertaking general office duties such as opening/closing procedures, filing, scanning, and maintaining the organization of the supply room Assisting the Accounts Payable Specialist with check run processes, including scanning, data entry, and batch report verification Providing back-up support to the Accounts Payable Specialist and Accounting Manager when needed Complying with local, state, and federal Fair Housing Laws Attending periodic industry meetings and training eventsSkills: Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) Strong skills in Administrative Assistance.Please contact Samantha Younes with Robert Half to review this position.
