I am a woman in my 50s with MS looking for another caregiver to join our team. This position does require lifting and transferring me. I do not have a lift. Female caregiver only please. We need someone to take me to the bathroom and put me in bed at least 3 or 4 nights a week at 8:30 pm. It takes 30 minutes to an hour. Then we have some shifts Saturday either 10am-10:30am and/or 1p-5p. Previous experience is a plus but not required. We do offer on the job training. A bedtime shift would consist of putting me in my wheelchair, taking me to the bathroom, putting me on the toilet and pressing my bladder, giving me my meds and putting me in bed. The Saturday morning shift would consist of feeding me my breakfast (a clif bar and protein shake) get me out of bed, take me to the bathroom and put me in my recliner. Saturday afternoon would consist of taking me to the bathroom probably twice, feeding me lunch, giving me my meds, feed me my dinner.
